My background
Jim worked as a banker had a distinguished banking career spanning 48 years
before retiring in November of 2018 from USBank as their Vice President of Treasury
Management in Commercial Real Estate. A graduate of Thomas More University, he used
his business talents in leading departments in management and sales of non-credit services. Jim ser

Management in Commercial Real Estate. A graduate of Thomas More University, he used
his business talents in leading departments in management and sales of non-credit services. Jim served as President of the Campbell County Jaycees in 1979. He was elected President of the Kentucky Jaycees in 1983-84.
Jim is married to the love of his life, Dr. Joyce Hamberg. They have two children and just amazing grandchildren. Jim was elected as a Councilmember of the City of
Southgate in 1990 and served in that capacity until elected Mayor of Southgate in
2007 where he continues today.
